On Sunday, November 16 at 1:00pm CNY-NOW and Howland Stone Store Museum invite you to “The Very Greatest Victory”, Winning Woman’s Suffrage in New York State.  The program will be presented by Karen Pastorello, Chair of Women and Gender Studies and Professor of History at Tompkins County Community College and Susan Goodier, recent Research Fellow at the Massachusetts Historical Society and Lecturer for the Organization of American Historians.  They collaborated on the award winning book “Women Will Vote”.  Their talk will highlight the role of activism by many groups in energizing the fight for the 19th Amendment in 1917.
